On February 28, 2011, I spent my first day interning at a local, uncertified organic, non-profit CSA farm that also works with local at-risk youth. I can definitively say that growing my own food has been the most empowering experience of my young adult life.
A total of 14 people have been infected with the outbreak strain of E. coli O26 from 6 states in the fifth outbreak involving sprouts served on Jimmy John’s sandwiches in the past four years
